Adding Users and Setting Permissions

Add your team members to AgentLoft and control what each person can do with roles and individual permissions.

Add a new user

  1. Click the Settings tab (gear icon) and go to Users.
  2. Click Create User and enter the new team member's details.

Important: Double-check the email address before you save a new user. If it's entered incorrectly, it can't be corrected from the admin panel — the account is tied to that address and a developer has to fix it. Email support@agentloft.com.

A user who hasn't accepted their invitation shows as Not invited in the Users list, with a Send invite button.

When editing a user you can also set Show on Website (whether they appear on your public site) and write two separate bios — an Agent Bio and a Blog Bio — so the same person can present differently on blog posts.

Set a user's role and permissions

  1. In the Users list, click the user's name (hyperlinked in blue) to open their profile.
  2. Under Manage Permissions, select a role:
  3. Primary Manager
  4. Manager
  5. Agent
  6. Blogger
  7. Optionally, toggle individual permissions such as Manage Leads, Manage Saved Searches, and Author Blogs to fine-tune access.
  8. Click Update Permissions to save.

Note: Roles set a sensible default; the individual toggles let you grant or remove specific abilities without changing someone's role.
