Your Profile and the Settings Menu

Every person with admin access to AgentLoft has a personal profile, and depending on their permissions, access to the Settings menu behind the gear icon. This guide shows you where to update your own profile and what each of the eleven Settings tabs controls.

Complete Part 1 before moving on to the Settings menu

Who this is for: Anyone with admin access to AgentLoft. Everyone can edit their own profile. The Settings menu depends on the permissions your role has been given.

Part 1: Updating your profile

Your profile holds your photo, professional title, phone number, and bio. You can edit your own profile at any time.

  1. Click your name in the top right corner of the admin panel.

  2. Select Profile.

Note: Your email address is not changed from this screen. If it was entered incorrectly when your account was created, see the note under Users below.

Part 2: The Settings menu

The Settings menu is the gear icon in the top right of the admin panel, next to Global Settings. Clicking it opens eleven tabs.

The table below shows what each tab controls. Full instructions follow in each tab’s own section.

  • Users — Add team members, edit their details, and set what they are allowed to do.

  • MLS Feed — Set the states, cities, and counties your site pulls listings from.

  • Integrations — Connect outside tools such as Follow Up Boss, Google Analytics, and Google SSO.

  • Search Settings — Choose which property types and search filters appear on your website.

  • Redirection — Manage URL redirects. See the note in that section.

  • Registration — Decide when visitors are asked to register before viewing more properties.

  • Custom Snippets — Add tracking or third-party code to your site, such as a Facebook Pixel.

  • Listing Page — Control the titles and descriptions on auto-generated listing pages, and block pages you do not want.

  • Brand & Brokerage — Set your brand name, logos, contact details, and business address.

  • Site Settings — Set your company time zone and turn automated emails on or off.

  • Support Access — Manage support access links. See the note in that section.

Users

If you have agents or staff who need access to your site, this is where you add and manage them. If you work alone, you can skip this section.

Add a user

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > Users.

  2. Click Create User and enter the new team member’s details.

The Users list shows each person’s name, email, status, and tags. A person who has not accepted their invitation shows as Not invited, with a Send invite button.

Important: Double-check the email address before you save. If it is entered incorrectly, it cannot be corrected from the admin panel because the account is tied to that address. A developer has to fix it. Contact support@agentloft.com.

Edit a user

  1. In the Users list, click the person’s name. Names are shown in blue.

  2. Click Edit User. From here you can update:

Phone

Profile Picture

Professional Title

Show on Website, controls whether this person appears on the public site.

Agent Bio and Blog Bio, separate tabs so the same person can have a different bio on blog posts.

Set permissions

  1. On the same screen, scroll to Manage Permissions.

  2. Choose a role from the dropdown: Primary Manager, Manager, Agent, or Blogger. Each role carries a different set of restrictions.

  3. Turn individual permissions on or off using the toggles. For example, switch off Author Blogs if that person should not write blog posts.

  4. Click Update Permissions to save.

MLS Feed

This tab opens the Geographical Restrictions page, which sets where your listings come from. It also determines which pages AgentLoft creates for you automatically, so what you enter here affects your whole site

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > MLS Feed.

  2. Under States, choose the state or states you want listings from. Do this first.

  3. Under Cities or Counties, narrow it down further.

  4. Click Update Geo Restrictions to save.

Geographical Restrictions — States and Cities selection

Geographical Restrictions — States and Cities selection

Important: Do not mix counties and cities. Selecting a county automatically pulls in every city inside it, which cancels out any individual city choices you make alongside it. Pick one approach: the whole county, or specific cities.

Note: As soon as you select one or more cities, listings from cities you did not select become unavailable on your site. The same applies to counties.

Note: The cities you enter here are what AgentLoft uses to auto-generate pages for your site. Those pages are managed under the Listing Page tab.

Integrations

Connect AgentLoft to the outside tools you already use. Each integration appears as a card with an Active or Inactive label.

The integrations currently available are:

Follow Up Boss, syncs leads, contacts, and client activity with the Follow Up Boss CRM.

Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager, tracks traffic, events, and conversions.

Sendgrid, handles email delivery and communication tracking.

Google SSO, allows secure single sign-on with Google on the website.

Before you connect Follow Up Boss: Two conditions have to be met. The account owner is the one who completes the API key setup, and the person set as Primary Manager in AgentLoft must also be inside the Follow Up Boss account for the embedded app to work. The email address must match in both systems.

Tip: If a tool you want is not listed here, it may be possible to add it through Custom Snippets instead.

Search Settings

This opens Property Search Settings, which controls what visitors can search for on your website. Every market is different, so a site in California may look nothing like one in North Carolina.

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > Search Settings.

  2. Under Select Property Type, Under Select Property Type, tick the property types you want in search results: Commercial Sale, Residential, Residential Income, Land, Commercial Lease, and Residential Lease. Untick anything you do not deal in. A brokerage that does not handle rentals, for example, would untick both lease options.

  1. Under Filter Settings, use the Filters list on the left to find a filter such as Price, Bedrooms, or Status.

  2. Use the toggle on the right to show or hide that filter on your site. Some filters have their own options underneath. For example, Status can include Active, Coming Soon, and Pending, and Types can include Homes, Townhomes, Condos/Apartments, Lot/Land, Multi-Family, Manufactured, and Farm.

  3. Click Update Search Filter Settings to save.

Note: The options available to you depend on what your MLS provides, so your list may not match this example exactly.

Redirection

This tab opens Manage Redirection, a list of URL redirects for your site. The table shows the Original Url, the Redirect Url, the Redirection Type such as permanent, and the date each one was created. There is an Add Redirection button, a search box, a filter for redirection types, and edit and delete icons on the rows.

Registration

Registration settings decide whether a visitor has to give you their contact details before they can keep browsing properties. This is one of the main ways your site captures leads.

The page separates visitors into two groups:

Normal Users — people who found your site on their own, for example through a Google search.

Paid Traffic Users — people who arrived through paid advertising, for example a lead you paid for through Zillow.

You can treat these two groups differently, and the right setup varies. A common approach is not to force registration on organic visitors, but to require it for paid traffic, since you are paying for those visits.

Enable Forced Registration — turns the registration prompt on for that group.

Number of Property Views — how many properties someone can look at before the registration form appears. For example, set it to 3 and a box appears on the fourth property asking for their name, email, and phone number.

Registration Type — how the form behaves, for example Forced (No Skip).

Photo Gating — disables the photo carousel on the Property Results page when forced registration is on.

Google SSO Authentication — lets visitors register using their Google account. Google SSO must be set up under Integrations first.

Note: If PPC is active on the account, a red message appears and the forced registration settings for paid traffic are locked. They cannot be changed while PPC is enabled.

Note: Click Save in the top right to apply your changes.

Custom Snippets

Custom Site Snippets is where small pieces of third-party code are added to your website, such as a Facebook Pixel or a tracking tag. It is the place to go when a tool you want is not already in the Integrations list.

The code comes from the tool you are connecting to. For example, a Facebook Pixel is generated in your Meta Business account, and a Google Analytics tag comes from Google. Get the code from that tool first, then add it here.1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > Custom Snippets.

  1. Click Add Snippet.

  2. Enter a Snippet Name so you can recognize it later, for example "Facebook Pixel".

  3. Set the Snippet Position — where the code sits on the page. Common options are Inside and After Opens. The tool you are adding will tell you which one it needs.

  4. Paste the code into the Snippet Code field.

  5. Click Update to save.

Each saved snippet shows its name, its position such as Inside or After Opens, and the date it was created. Icons on the right let you edit, delete, or expand it.

Listing Page

AgentLoft automatically creates pages for you based on the cities and counties you entered under MLS Feed. That includes city pages, county pages, community pages, school pages, and popular searches. This tab controls how those pages are titled and lets you switch off ones you do not want.

Set the page titles and descriptions

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > Listing Page.

  2. Under Global Listing Page Meta Template, pick the type of page you want to set up. The tabs are City, Community, County, Zipcode, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Popular Search, and School District.

  3. Use the Dynamic Placeholders to build your template. Click a placeholder to copy it, then paste it into the title or description. Available placeholders include {CITY}, {STATE}, {COMPANY}, {COUNT}, and {AVG_PRICE}.

  4. Fill in the Default Meta Title Template and Default Meta Description Template. These are what shows up in Google search results, so they affect how your pages look to people searching.

  5. Click Save.

Example: A title template of {CITY}, {STATE} Homes for Sale & Real Estate | {COMPANY} becomes "Raleigh, NC Homes for Sale & Real Estate | Raleigh Realty" once the page is built.

Block pages you do not want

If you entered a whole county, AgentLoft creates pages for every town in it, including very small ones. You can switch off any you do not want.

  1. Scroll to Block sub-pages by city.

  2. Click Add Blocking Rule and choose the city and the sub-pages to block, such as Community pages or Popular search pages.

  3. To unblock a city later, delete its entry from the table.

Brand & Brokerage

This is where your brand details and logos live. It is organized into five tabs: Brokerage Details, Logo Settings, Email & IDs, Phone Numbers, and Business Address.

Brokerage Details — Brand Name, Site Owner, agent or contact name, and office name.

Logo Settings — your logo assets, favicon, and image overrides. Click Show Advanced Settings to see the full set of image fields.

Uploading your logos

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) > Brand & Brokerage and open Logo Settings.

  2. Upload your Company Logo and Company Favicon. For most clients, that is all you need to do. See the note below before you choose your logo.

  3. If you want more control, click Show Advanced Settings to reveal the full set of image fields:

Company Logo

Company Favicon

Company Logo (Inverted)

Email Logo

Fallback Image

OG Fallback Image

Note: Your company logo doubles as the fallback image. When the MLS does not supply a photo for a property, your logo is shown in its place. The other images in the list are generated automatically from the logo you upload, which is why they sit behind Show Advanced Settings.

Tip: If your logo is not appearing on listings that have no MLS photo, re-upload your Company Logo to regenerate the fallback image. You can also open Show Advanced Settings and upload your own Fallback Image instead.

Site Settings

Two things are managed here.

Note: In most cases these are already set for you when your website is handed over. Check the settings before changing anything.

Company Timezone — used to display dates such as blog post dates consistently, no matter where the admin or the visitor is located.

Email Settings — turns automated emails on or off. For example, Saved Properties Email notifies the assigned agent when one of their leads saves a property, so they can follow up. Switch it off to stop those emails.

Support Access

This tab shows a Manage Support Access table. It lists support links, their status, whether they have been accessed, and how many permissions each carries.
