Google Site Verification (Search Console & More)
Verify your site with Google Search Console — or any service that uses a meta tag — without touching code.
Verify with a meta tag (recommended)
- In Google Search Console, add your domain as a URL-prefix property and choose the HTML tag verification method. Copy the meta tag it gives you.
- In AgentLoft, go to Settings (gear icon) → Custom Snippets.
- Click Add Snippet, name it (e.g., "GSC verification"), set Snippet Position to Inside
<head>, paste the meta tag, and click Update. - Back in Search Console, click Verify.
The same approach works for Bing Webmaster Tools, Facebook domain verification, and any other meta-tag verification.
Verify with DNS (alternative)
If you prefer the Domain property type in Search Console, verification happens with a TXT record at your DNS provider instead — add the TXT record Google provides wherever your DNS is hosted. No AgentLoft changes needed.
Tip: Once verified, Search Console is where you'll see your site's indexing, search queries, and sitemap status. Worth checking monthly — your dynamic listing pages should steadily accumulate impressions there.
