Email Sending Domains & Deliverability

Property alerts and site emails are only useful if they land in the inbox. Authenticating a sending domain is what keeps your email out of spam.

Why this matters

Emails sent "from" your domain without authentication get flagged by Gmail and Outlook. Domain authentication (SPF/DKIM records in your DNS) proves the email really comes from you, dramatically improving deliverability.

Setting up your sending domain

  1. Email support@agentloft.com and request domain authentication (or a dedicated email sending domain) for your site.
  2. The team generates the DNS records (typically a few CNAMEs) and sends them to you.
  3. Add the records at your DNS provider and reply to confirm — we'll verify and switch your site's email to the authenticated domain.

Note: This is separate from your website's domain setup — authenticating the site domain doesn't automatically authenticate email. If you're doing a new-site cutover, ask for both at once.

If emails aren't sending or landing in spam

  1. Confirm your sending-domain authentication is set up (above) — this is the #1 cause.
  2. Check whether the recipient's saved-search criteria actually match new inventory (no matches = no alert emails — that's expected).
  3. Still stuck? Email support with an example recipient address and approximate send time, and we'll trace it.
